California High School Basketball - Poly edges Fairmont Prep
January 17, 2022: Riverside, CA 92506 The Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Fairmont Prep Huskies (Anaheim, CA), 61-56 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bears (20-1) will now prepare for their test against Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA). The Mustangs go into the Ivy test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Rancho Verde got by Notre Dame (Riverside, CA), 78-33, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Fairmont for a San Joaquin test on Tuesday, January 18. Fairmont Prep will battle a Warriors team coming off a 93-44 league loss to Pacifica Christian/Orange County (Newport Beach, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-15.
