California High School Basketball - St. Paul thwarts West
January 17, 2022: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 The St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting West Warriors (Torrance, CA), 69-55 in Monday's non-league test.
The Swordsmen (13-9) will now prepare for their test against La Salle (Pasadena, CA). The Lancers go into the Camino Real test with a 10-8 record.
The Warriors now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lawndale for a Pioneer test on Wednesday, January 19. West will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 72-66 non-league loss to De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-9.
