January 17, 2023: Barnegat, NJ 08005 The Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ), 66-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bengals (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ). The Lions go into the Shore B - South test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Lacey Township was trounced by St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ), 64-59, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Sayreville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. East Brunswick will encounter a Bombers squad coming off a 76-52 non-league loss to Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ). The Bombers record now stands at 2-12.
