Kentucky High School Basketball - Harrison County tops Bracken County
January 17, 2023: Cynthiana, KY 41031 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) and the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY), saw Harrison County's basketball squad knock off Bracken County by a count of 56-42.
With the victory, Harrison County upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Thorobreds travel to Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY) to play the Black Devils in a District 38 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Black Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-16. Robertson County lost 90-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Augusta (Augusta, KY)
Next up, the Polar Bears play the Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Bracken County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 86-57 league loss to Bath County (Owingsville, KY).
