January 17, 2023: Channing, TX 79018 The Hartley Tigers basketball team scored 1 points and held the host Channing Eagles to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Texline for a 1A Region I District 3 contest on Friday, January 20. Hartley will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 69-41 league win over Wildorado (Wildorado, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 23-4.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Adrian (Adrian, TX). The Matadors enter the 1A Region I District 3 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Adrian nudged Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX), 54-31, in a league contest.
