Michigan High School Basketball - Nouvel Catholic Central thwarts Chesaning
January 17, 2023: Saginaw, MI 48603 The Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI), 68-57 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Ithaca (Ithaca, MI). The Yellowjackets go into the Tri-Valley - West test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Ithaca went down by Alma (Alma, MI), 66-59, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeville for a Mid-Michigan test on Friday, January 20. Chesaning will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 55-16 league loss to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 0-10.
