The Wetumka Chieftains basketball squad scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Davenport Bulldogs to 60 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Wetumka upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Tupelo (Tupelo, OK) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Dewar Dragons (Dewar, OK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Davenport will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 51-42 non-league win over Mounds (Mounds, OK).
