The Poinciana Eagles basketball team (Kissimmee, FL), was nudged 66-60 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Discovery Spartans (Lake Alfred, FL)

The Spartans now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mulberry for a 4A District 7 battle on Thursday, January 19. Discovery will confront a Panthers team coming off a 68-38 non-league loss to McKeel Academy (Lakeland, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-15.

The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Kissimmee, FL). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Liberty was nudged by Bartow (Bartow, FL), 83-42, in a non-league contest.
