Connecticut High School Basketball - Farmington nudges Newington
January 17, 2023: Farmington, CT 06032 Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT), 50-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Farmington upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The River Hawks travel to Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Wethersfield lost 61-40 in their recent non-league bout against Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT)
Next up, the Nor'easters clash with the Edwin O. Smith Panthers (Storrs, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Newington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 75-58 league loss to RHAM (Hebron, CT).
