In Tuesday's non-league outing, the First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC) basketball squad edged the host Hilton Head Prep Dolphins (Hilton Head Island, SC), by a count of 63-58.

The Hurricanes (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Cyclones go into the SCISA AAAA Region III outing with a 15-7 record. In their last outing, Porter-Gaud held off Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC), 49-30, in a league outing.

The Dolphins now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hilton Head Christian Academy for a SCISA AAA Region I outing on Friday, January 20.
