January 17, 2023: Chesterfield, VA

The Grove Christian School Falcons basketball team scored 53 points and held the host James River HomeSchool Eagles to 41 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Michael the Archangel for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Grove Christian School will meet a Warriors team coming off a 64-60 league loss to Church Hill Academy (Richmond, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-5.

The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Loudoun County HomeSchool (Lovettsville, VA). The Patriots enter the Virginia HomeSchool contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Loudoun County HomeSchool ran past Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA), 57-48, in a league contest.
