January 17, 2023: Lancaster, PA 17602 The J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado basketball team (Lancaster, PA), was routed 71-45 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA)
The Longhorns now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lancaster Mennonite for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. Unionville will battle a Blazers team coming off a 63-49 non-league win over Steelton-Highspire (Steelton, PA). The Blazers record now stands at 10-3.
The Red Tornado (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Penn Manor (Millersville, PA). The Comets come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Penn Manor trounced Solanco (Quarryville, PA), 57-37, in a non-league battle.
