Georgia High School Basketball - LaGrange fells Troup County
January 17, 2023: LaGrange, GA 30240 LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA), 63-52 in a league bout.
With the win, LaGrange upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Grangers host North Clayton (College Park, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a AAAA Region 4 game on Friday, January 20. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-17. North Clayton lost 82-41 in their recent league game against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA)
With the defeat, Troup County moves to 7-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to face the Lions in a AAAA Region 4 game on Friday, January 20. The Lions enter the game with a record of 9-7. Trinity Christian won 57-41 in their recent league game against Riverdale (Riverdale, GA)
