Maine High School Basketball - Monmouth Academy overwhelms Richmond
January 17, 2023: Monmouth, ME 04259 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME) and the visiting Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME), saw Monmouth Academy's basketball squad wallop Richmond by a tally of 67-46.
With the victory, Monmouth Academy improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME) to confront the Seahawks in a C South challenge on Friday, January 20. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Boothbay won 74-54 in their recent league challenge against Buckfield (Buckfield, ME)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) in a C South challenge, on Friday, January 20. Richmond will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 74-54 league loss to Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME).
