January 17, 2023: Magnolia, MS 39652 The North Pike Jaguars basketball team (Summit, MS), was overwhelmed 62-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the host South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS)
The Eagles now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McComb for a 4A Region 6 battle on Friday, January 20. South Pike will confront a Tigers team coming off a 65-56 league win over Wingfield (Jackson, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 16-5.
The Jaguars (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Lanier (Jackson, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region 6 battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Lanier was overwhelmed by Raymond (Raymond, MS), 70-52, in a league battle.
