January 17, 2023: Toledo, OH 43620 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Scott Bulldogs (Toledo, OH) and the visiting Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH), saw Scott's basketball squad hold off Clay by a tally of 45-41.
With the victory, Scott improves its record to 1-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Waite (Toledo, OH) to encounter the Indians in a Toledo City test on Wednesday, January 18. The Indians go into the test with a record of 0-6.
The Eagles now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lima Senior for a Three Rivers test on Thursday, January 19.
