Michigan High School Basketball - Climax-Scotts tops Kellogg
January 17, 2023: Climax, MI 49034 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Climax-Scotts Panthers (Climax, MI) and the visiting Kellogg Panthers (Delton, MI), saw Climax-Scotts's basketball squad knock off Kellogg by a count of 40-26.
With the victory, Climax-Scotts upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Athens (Athens, MI) to play the Indians in a Southern Central battle on Friday, January 20. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 7-3. Athens won 34-32 in their recent league battle against Colon (Colon, MI)
The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Martin (Martin, MI). The Clippers come into the Southwestern - Central battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Martin was toppled by Watervliet (Watervliet, MI), 49-27, in a non-league battle.
