The Hamlin Chargers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting DeSmet Bulldogs to 35 in the Chargers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Hamlin will battle a Pheasants team coming off a 50-35 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 5-6.

The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Warriors come into the B Region 2 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Castlewood was routed by St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
