Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) and the visiting Nardin Academy Gators (Buffalo, NY), saw East Aurora's basketball squad hold off Nardin Academy by a tally of 40-36.

With the victory, East Aurora improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY) to confront the Steelers in a Section 6 Erie County III challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Steelers come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Lackawanna lost 83-15 in their recent league challenge against Depew (Depew, NY)
