Iowa High School Basketball - Iowa City West overwhelms Fort Madison
January 17, 2023: Iowa City, IA 52246 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Iowa City West Trojans (Iowa City, IA) and the visiting Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA), saw Iowa City West's basketball squad wallop Fort Madison by a tally of 74-26.
With the victory, Iowa City West improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Linn-Mar (Marion, IA) to confront the Lions in a Mississippi Valley challenge on Friday, January 20. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Linn-Mar lost 63-57 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (North Liberty, IA)
Next up, the Bloodhounds confront the Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) in a Southeast challenge, on Friday, January 20. Fort Madison will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
