Maryland High School Basketball - Glenelg Country nips St. Paul's Girls
January 17, 2023: Brooklandville, MD 21022 Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host St. Paul's Girls Gators (Brooklandville, MD), 47-44 in a league bout.
With the victory, Glenelg Country upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Notre Dame Prep (Towson, MD) to play the in a IAAM B bout on Friday, January 20. The come into the bout with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the Gators play the Garrison Forest (Owings Mills, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. St. Paul's Girls will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 61-21 non-league loss to John Carroll (Bel Air, MD).
