The Halifax Wildcats basketball team (Halifax, PA), was overwhelmed 43-22 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA)

The Buffaloes now possess a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Juniata for a Tri-Valley battle on Friday, January 20.

The Wildcats (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA). The Trojans come into the Tri-Valley battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Upper Dauphin Area trounced East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA), 51-5, in a league battle.
