January 17, 2023: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oak Forest Warriors (Wake Forest, NC) and the host Hilltop Christian Chargers (Fuquay-Varina, NC), saw Oak Forest's basketball squad wallop Hilltop Christian by a tally of 44-16.
With the victory, Oak Forest improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host New Life Camp (Raleigh, NC) to play the Storm in a North Carolina Home Education - East challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. New Life Camp won 63-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenfield (Wilson, NC)
Next up, the Chargers play the Liberty Christian Academy Heat (Richlands, NC) in a NCCSA AA East Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Hilltop Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Heat come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 29-25 non-league loss to Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC).
