Minnesota High School Basketball - Nevis crushes Long Prairie-Grey Eagle
January 17, 2023: Nevis, MN 56467 Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), 58-35 in a league bout.
With the win, Nevis upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Tigers host Laporte (Laporte, MN) to clash with the Wildcats in a A Section 5 bout on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Laporte lost 90-19 in their recent league bout against Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN)
Next up, the Thunder clash with the Parkers Prairie Panthers (Parkers Prairie, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 57-19 league win over Ashby (Ashby, MN).
