Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Centre overwhelms Osakis
January 17, 2023: Sauk Centre, MN 56378 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) and the visiting Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN), saw Sauk Centre's basketball squad wallop Osakis by a tally of 63-29.
With the victory, Sauk Centre improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mainstreeters travel to Melrose (Melrose, MN) to play the Dutchmen in a AA Section 6 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Dutchmen come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Melrose lost 55-31 in their recent league challenge against Holdingford (Holdingford, MN)
Next up, the Silverstreaks play the Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN) in a A Section 5 challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Osakis will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 54-49 league win over Browerville (Browerville, MN).
