Florida High School Basketball - Ransom Everglades overwhelms Southwest
January 17, 2023: Miami, FL 33165 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ransom Everglades Raiders (Miami, FL) and the host Southwest Eagles (Miami, FL), saw Ransom Everglades's basketball squad wallop Southwest by a tally of 54-14.
With the victory, Ransom Everglades improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Divine Savior Academy (Doral, FL) to confront the Sharks in a 3A District 15 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Divine Savior Academy won 49-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Coral Shores (Tavernier, FL)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Palmetto Panthers (Miami, FL) in a 7A District 16 challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 49-46 non-league win over Mater Lakes Academy (Miami, FL).
