Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Williamson Lions (Mobile, AL) and the visiting UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs (Mobile, AL), saw Williamson's basketball squad hold off UMS-Wright Prep by a tally of 37-35.

With the victory, Williamson improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Elberta (Elberta, AL) to play the Warriors in a 5A Area 1 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-20. Elberta lost 41-13 in their recent league challenge against Rain (Mobile, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Bayside Academy Admirals (Daphne, AL) in a 4A Area 1 challenge, on Friday, January 20. UMS-Wright Prep will attempt to improve on its 21-5 season record.
