California High School Basketball - Escalon nips Hughson
January 17, 2023: Hughson, CA 95326 Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA), 31-29 in a league bout.
With the win, Escalon upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cougars host Hilmar (Hilmar, CA) to play the Yellowjackets in a bout on Thursday, January 19. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Hilmar won 37-23 in their recent league bout against Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA)
Next up, the Huskies play the Ripon Christian Knights (Ripon, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 20. Hughson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 17-16 league loss to Ripon (Ripon, CA).
