January 17, 2023: Rockledge, FL 32955 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rockledge Raiders (Rockledge, FL) and the visiting Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), saw Rockledge's basketball squad hold off Merritt Island by a tally of 57-56.
With the victory, Rockledge improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Raiders host Viera (Viera, FL) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Viera won 42-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Sebastian River Sharks (Sebastian, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Merritt Island will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 60-44 non-league win over St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL).
