New Jersey High School Basketball - J.P. Stevens fells Academy for Urban Leadership Charter
January 17, 2024: Edison, NJ 08820 J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Academy for Urban Leadership Charter Jaguars (Perth Amboy, NJ), 58-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, J.P. Stevens upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Hawks travel to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ) to play the Falcons in a Greater Middlesex - Red bout on Saturday, January 20. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Monroe Township won 46-36 in their recent league bout against East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Bound Brook Crusaders (Bound Brook, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Academy for Urban Leadership Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record.
