Michigan High School Basketball - Carrollton nips Mt. Morris
January 17, 2024: Carrollton, MI 48724 Carrollton Cavaliers (Carrollton, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI), 48-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Carrollton upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Millington (Millington, MI) to play the Cardinals in a Tri-Valley - Blue bout on Friday, January 26. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 6-3.
Next up, the Panthers play the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a Mid-Michigan bout, on Friday, January 19. Mt. Morris will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 38-31 non-league loss to Morrice (Morrice, MI).
