Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI) and the host Cousino Patriots (Warren, MI), saw Lakeview's basketball squad overcome Cousino by a tally of 56-47.

With the victory, Lakeview improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host Marysville (Marysville, MI) to confront the Vikings in a Macomb Area - Silver challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Marysville lost 69-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Port Huron (Port Huron, MI)
