Michigan High School Basketball - Richard crushes Gabriel Richard
January 17, 2024: Riverview, MI 48192 Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish (Ann Arbor, MI), 60-34 in a league bout.
With the victory, Richard upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI) to play the Gryphons in a Catholic Intersectional I bout on Friday, January 19. The Gryphons come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Greenhills won 57-42 in their recent non-league bout against Ypsilanti (Ypsilanti, MI)
Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI) in a Catholic AA bout, on Friday, January 19. Gabriel Richard will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 53-36 league loss to Loyola (Detroit, MI).
