Florida High School Basketball - Wildwood can't hold off Halifax Academy

The Halifax Academy Knights basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Wildwood Wildcats to 55 in the Knights non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legacy Charter for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Halifax Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 56-49 non-league win over East Ridge (Clermont, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-7.

The Wildcats (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Leesburg (Leesburg, FL). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Leesburg was nudged by Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL), 63-59, in a non-league contest.
