Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Millville nips South Williamsport
January 17, 2024: South Williamsport, PA 17702 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Millville Quakers (Millville, PA) and the host South Williamsport Mountaineers (South Williamsport, PA), saw Millville's basketball squad hold off South Williamsport by a tally of 36-35.
With the victory, Millville improves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Quakers host Muncy (Muncy, PA) to play the Indians in a Midd-Penn challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Muncy won 59-19 in their recent league challenge against Benton (Benton, PA)
Next up, the Mountaineers play the Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA) in a Midd-Penn challenge, on Saturday, January 20. South Williamsport will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 67-51 league win over Montgomery (Montgomery, PA).
