Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host University Trojans (Waco, TX), 57-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Killeen upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Kangaroos travel to Shoemaker (Killeen, TX) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Trojans play the Waco Lions (Waco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. University will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 67-17 non-league loss to Shoemaker (Killeen, TX).
