Ohio High School Basketball - Mentor crushes Perry
January 17, 2024: Mentor, OH 44060 Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Perry Pirates (Perry, OH), 53-22 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mentor upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Cardinals host Brunswick (Brunswick, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a Greater Cleveland bout on Saturday, January 20. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Brunswick lost 52-41 in their recent non-league bout against Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH)
Next up, the Pirates play the Chagrin Falls Tigers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 58-49 league win over Orange (Pepper Pike, OH).
