The Clairemont Chieftains basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Valhalla Norsemen to 40 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Chieftains now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Jolla for a contest on Friday, January 19.

The Norsemen (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars come into the contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Steele Canyon prevailed over West Hills (Santee, CA), 61-33, in a league contest.
