January 17, 2024: Forest, VA 24551 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) and the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), saw Salem's basketball squad overcome Jefferson Forest by a tally of 51-41.
With the victory, Salem improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Jefferson Forest will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 58-44 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA).
