Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Volunteers confront the Boswell Pioneers (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Bowie will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, TX).

The Eagles now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Newman International Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. DeSoto will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Kennedale (Kennedale, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
