In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Archbishop Shaw Eagles basketball team scored a big 97-61 triumph over the McDonogh 35 Roneagles.

The Eagles (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Swamp Owls go into the 4A District 9 contest with a 8-13 record.
