The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bessemer Academy Rebels (Bessemer, AL) and the host Hooper Academy Colts (Hope Hull, AL), observed Bessemer Academy's basketball team overcome Hooper Academy by a margin of 70-58.

The Rebels (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Banks Academy (Birmingham, AL). The Jets come into the AISA AA Region 3 challenge with a 9-3 record.
