New Milford Knights (New Milford, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ), 82-61 in a non-league match.

With the victory, New Milford upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Knights host Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ) to face the Royals in a North Jersey - Liberty match on Tuesday, January 21. The Royals enter the match with a record of 7-3. Ridgefield Memorial lost 85-51 in their recent league match against Dwight-Englewood (Englewood, NJ)

The Buccaneers now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host DePaul Catholic for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Bogota will face a Spartans squad coming off a 70-61 league loss to Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-5.
