Iowa High School Basketball - Boone routs Denison-Schleswig
January 17, 2025: Boone, IA 50036 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Boone Toreadors basketball team scored a big 82-49 triumph over the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs.
The Toreadors (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Bombers go into the Raccoon River contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Ballard smashed Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 68-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Denison-Schleswig will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 56-45 league win over Creston (Creston, IA).
