Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS), 89-67 in a league match.

With the victory, Palmer advances its record to 11-7 on the year. The Dragons host Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Lions enter the match with a record of 15-3. Rosa Fort won 78-48 in their recent league match against North Panola (Sardis, MS)

The Trojans now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Water Valley for a 2A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 21. Bruce will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 49-34 non-league win over Vardaman (Vardaman, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-10.
