Louisiana High School Basketball - Brusly thwarts Patterson
January 17, 2025: Brusly, LA 70719 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) and the visiting Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA), observed Brusly's basketball team knock off Patterson by a score of 61-44.
The Panthers (20-9) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors come into the 4A District 6 challenge with a 18-8 record. In their last challenge, St. Michael prevailed over Live Oak (Watson, LA), 57-45, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lumberjacks encounter the East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Patterson will attempt to improve on its 7-23 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 21-14 record after their 63-38 non-league loss to East Ascension (Gonzales, LA).
