January 17, 2025: Cecilia, LA 70517 The Cecilia Bulldogs (Cecilia, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA), 75-48 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Breaux Bridge for a 4A District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Cecilia will play a Tigers team coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-18.
With the loss, Mentorship Academy falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to St. John (Plaquemine, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-10. St. John won 65-56 in their recent non-league bout against Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA)
