Florida High School Basketball - Jefferson County bested by Community Christian
January 17, 2025: Tallahassee, FL 32309 Community Christian Chargers (Tallahassee, FL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Jefferson County Tigers (Monticello, FL), 58-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Community Christian advances its record to 1-10 on the year. The Chargers travel to Community Leadership Academy (Tallahassee, FL) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Lions enter the match with a record of 11-9. Community Leadership Academy won 55-44 in their recent non-league match against Franklin County (Eastpoint, FL)
The Tigers now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bell for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Jefferson County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-30 non-league win over St. John Lutheran (Ocala, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-12.
