The First Colonial Patriots basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Deep Creek Hornets to 57 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Kellam for a Beach game on Tuesday, January 21. First Colonial will confront a Knights team coming off a 68-47 league loss to Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Deep Creek falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Washington County (Plymouth, NC) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, January 20.
