The Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors bounced the visiting Discovery Charter School Trailblazers basketball squad by a final score of 83-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Mighty Warriors clash with the Winston Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, January 20. Mount Zion Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 10-4 record after their 70-65 non-league loss to Carolina Basketball Academy (Henderson, NC).
